Review: We have visited Rhovanion Bed and Breakfast on two occasions,and will definitely book again if we are in the area. It is clean and comfortable and within walking distance to the pub and restaurants. Fiona and Michael are friendly and welcoming, and Fiona cooks a good breakfast, and if requested a good packed lunch.10 out of 10.

Review: Ideal location for my friend and I, during a brief fishing trip to Coldingham.
The twin room was very clean, and well furnished, and good value for money. Our Hosts Fiona and Michael were friendly, welcoming, and most helpful. They provided us with a good breakfast before our departure. Recommended.

Review: The hospitality shown by Michael & Fiona at Rhovanion B & B was a delightful experience for a couple of Aussies on their return trip to the UK. The room was spacious, tasteful and absolutely spotless. The breakfasts cooked by Fiona were superb and the suggestions made by our hosts were spot-on! We visited Bamburgh Castle, explored Eyemouth, Coldingham and St Abbs. The Maritime Museum was interesting and the Ship Inn served a lovely meal, but by far the best cuisine was at the New Inn in Coldingham - about 200m walk from Rhovanion. We used the caravan park's laundrette and the doctor in Coldingham was very helpful for a long standing difficult to move flu. Rhovanion was just what we needed to give us a restful break in a warm and friendly environment.

Review: Mike and Fiona very welcoming hosts and the trip worth it alone for Mike's humour which is very different! Breakfasts were excellent and freshly cooked rather than a buffet. Room was comfortable with the most being made of the space available.
Good value and I will definitely stay again as we have family in the area.

Review: We heartily recommend this comfortable b'n'b. The rooms are attractive (and spotless!), the water is always hot, breakfasts are freshly cooked and tasty and Fiona and Mike are welcoming and entertaining hosts. We stayed for four nights and would happily have lingered longer if we could.

Review: One of the best B&Bs I have stayed in, positioned in a nice quiet area of Coldingham. Breakfast was very good, and If you want you can also have a pre ordered evening meal. The rooms are of a good size and very clean. I would like to thank Fiona & Mike for making us feel welcome during our stay. I would not hesitate to return in the future. 5*+

Review: After a long drive from Bournemouth, a very warm welcome from hosts Mike and Fiona and a blissful nights sleep a hearty breakfast followed. The accommodation is spotless and very comfortable, home from home. Conveniently situated for so many activities and a short walk from the beach. Mike and Fiona were so very friendly and helpful and I would certainly recommend this B&B.

Review: We stayed over one night prior to diving at Eyemouth and had a lovely time. The Rhovanion is a lovely place to stay and we were greeted with a warm welcome from the owner and shown to a very cosy twin room with en suite. We had a couple of drinks in the New Inn pub before returning to watch TV with a hot coffee in our room. Breakfast was excellent, hot and very tasty, perfect to start off a day of diving, we will definitely be visiting this pearl of a B&B next time we go diving.

Review: A lovely place to stay. Friendly owners who want the guest to be comfortable in their home. 5 star accommodation with a guest lounge. Good en-suite rooms for a good nights rest.
There is lots of advice re interesting places to visit, bird watching, art courses and local walks. The area has much to offer including a wonderful beach and brilliant surf. Highly recommended and thank you for looking after us.

Review: We stayed one night and wished we had more time to explore the local area and stay in this very clean and friendly B&B. We were made to feel very much at home and enjoyed Mike's bantering conversation. Bedroom and breakfast were excellent, as were the eating out tips. Thanks to Fiona and Mike for a good all-round experience, which we hope to repeat some time soon.

Review: What a lovely area. Arrived from Bristol by car late and welcomed at the Rhovanion, very clean neat and friendly. On our hosts recommendation we ate at the New Inn. Also very friendly with a great meal and I was introduced to several Tennant ale pints. A walk back through the church so full of history was a highlight for 2 Aussie travellers. We will be back. Review: Found this Guest House on the internet so phoned owner and was pleased at his manner and informative replies to my questions (recovering from a broken leg so I had mobility questions) Fiona and Michael were both very welcoming, without being imposing. The room was big, very comfortable bed and the bathroom was spotless with thoughtful toiletries provided. A clean dining-room and very tasty breakfast welcomed us in the morning, with pleasant banter from Michael and Fiona. Would highly recommend.

Review: We stayed here for five days in Sept 2008 and greatly enjoyed the friendly and welcoming hospitality of Mike and Fiona. Their home offers excellent and spacious accommodation and facilities while Fiona's substantial breakfasts kept you going most of the day. A truly happy stay in a beautifully clean and lovely guest house with hosts who ensured your stay with them was a memorable one. Gladly would recommend Mike and Fiona Clift's 'Rhovanion'.
